Rhonda and I arrived in Atlanta, GA, for the Atlanta Quilt Festival. Shortly after arriving, we stumbled upon one of the "Old Lady Gang" restaurants for a meal. There was a line down the sidewalk to get in, and a long line is, in my book is a sign that the food is good. I admit I didn't know what the draw to this establishment was. As I so often do, I asked the young men in front of us why the long line? I was then reminded that several of the owners are tied to the Housewives of Atlanta TV show. Most of the diners around us were first-timers. Yes, I asked! Two of them were Kappas from Dallas, in town to bury a brother. We engaged in conversations ranging from growing up in Texas to the education system and, of course, Covid-19. We all enjoyed our meals. I'd have to re-visit the restaurant when I wasn't famished to give them a true rating. Perhaps on my next visit.
